Woke up early. Araldite’d some cats. Rearranged the storage room at work. It’s all nice and clear and organised. Had a quick lunch with Martoon. He bought me a gold chocolate coin. Treasured. Araldite’d more cats when I got home. It’s turning bitterly cold. And I haven’t had much to eat today. I’m hungry. There’s nothing to eat. And I’ve just brushed my teeth. Woe is me.
Get well soon Tansy.
NB: The backdrop for this photo isn’t quite glamorous but there are cats/araldite/stuff littered everywhere else.
Ok, so I am a day behind on this project. Not because I haven’t created anything but because I haven’t really had the time to post stuff up.
Yesterday, woke up after a longgggggg journey from Peckham to Finsbury Park.
Sluice > Saatchi > Frieze.
3 art fairs in about 4-5 hours. Not bad. All free. (VIP ticket to Frieze, thank goodness so didn’t have to fork money out for that). Decided that the best time to walk around London is 6pm onwards. I wish I had my camera with me that day. So many potential good photos that just can’t be justified using the iPhone…
I’ve started drawing everything I buy and the prices. I may keep this up for a week or so to keep tabs on my spending.
Had an incredible evening yesterday. Artist friend took me out for drinks in the Mayfair Hotel Bar then for dinner at The Wolseley(!). Best steak I have ever had. Sorry Garufa. But it was. Amazing food. Wonderful company.
Day off today. Tied up some loose ends. Had a hair cut. (Far too much cut off…)
Went to dinner with Martini. Consumed garlic pork ribs, pumpkin and cheese pasty, pork and chorizo casserole, potato and onion tortilla, a bottle of opal ridge and a bottle of false bay. This is more for my reference later on.
Was wandering home wondering what ‘arty’ thing to do today then I came across this view. I swear I find the most interesting photographs when I’m gone slightly… Or they seem interesting at the time anyway.
Helped with the takedown of Art London today. Including the 5.4 x 5.6 x 1.5m mosaic Octopus. Pocketed the pieces that had come off. Just as important as the sculpture itself, non? Displayed on one of the 18 plinths my Dad came down with (for the next exhibition). They need a bit of sprucing up.
Came home early. LONG cat nap. Body is still recovering from the last few weeks. Day off tomorrow. Although it definitely does not feel like it.
Also. The pigeon photo from Day 41 finally arrived! It makes me happy.
I’m going to miss Art London.
P.s. My website is still screwed. As if I don’t have enough on my plate.
